TA Grade Distribution Management Tool

I created an Excel template for managing grade distributions in large classes. This was designed for the University of Oklahoma's Introduction to Business Ethics, which is a (very large) lecture-style course with several associated discussion sections led by graduate assistants. This presents a potential issue: What if some GAs grade more harshly than others?

The spreadsheet linked below tries to identify and solve this potential problem, and reduces the labor of identifying students with similar essay scores to compare. I have uploaded the spreadsheet to Google Sheets, but am happy to send anyone a copy of the original Excel file over email and answer any questions. Sample images (with pretend student data) are pictured below.

Standpoint Epistemology Game

This interactive classroom game uses Excel and PowerPoint (also available via Google Sheets and Slides) to teach Standpoint Epistemology through a corporate boardroom meeting scenario. The game introduces students to key issues in social epistemology, such as epistemic injustice and standpoint theory.
Often, students are asked to imagine how their perspectives might change if they belonged to a different identity group—a task that can be challenging and, at times, met with resistance. This RPG-style game provides a structured, engaging alternative.
Players assume corporate roles that reflect a hierarchy within the company. Each role is assigned starting scores for Credibility, Agency, and Ignorance, which evolve based on their actions during the meeting. The game highlights how social dynamics shape knowledge and decision-making.
The game requires one facilitator and accommodates up to four players. It is ideal for courses in business ethics, epistemology, or introductory philosophy. The necessary files are available via Google Sheets and Slides, and I’m happy to provide the originals upon request.
